The employer is one of the world's leading manufacturers of soft contact lenses and related products and services.
  • Assist in the coordination of clinical and professional development programs, plans and actions for the professional services function, including, but not limited to:
  • Clinical/business support materials for eye care practitioners, partner laboratories, and their related staff (manuals, web training, presentations, etc.).
  • Provide marketing support and launch planning for all new Company products & services.
  • Assist in securing new product research via Universities or private parties, domestic and international.
  • Attend lab seminars, conventions and other practitioner meetings as required to exhibit, present or educate.
  • Provide speakers for organizations, partner labs, or conferences when appropriate.
  • Provide custom educational programs for any partner laboratory or current customer when necessary.
  • Assist in development and implementation of procedures and systems to manage any certification requirements by FDA or International agencies for the Company's products.
  • Interface regularly with multi-discipline eye care professionals, senior management, and the sales staff.
  • Consult with U.S. practitioners' requests relative to contact lens fitting, professional relations activities, regulatory affairs, and clinical studies.
  • Provide technical input when reviewing regulatory labeling.
  • Maintain all appropriate documentation and records.
  • Control expenses accordingly.
  • Assist in training of new sales, marketing and professional services personnel.
  • Compose and prepare computer graphics, artwork, and layouts.
  • Assist with other marketing efforts as time allows.

  • Good knowledge of computer programs including; Word, Excel, Act, and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time (Domestic & International)
  • Doctor of Optometry or equivalent (BS Optom) or MS/PhD in relatable field.
  • Experience in contact lens fitting, consulting, or design
  • Membership in at least one professional contact lens organization
